I just got my Samsung 50″ FPT5084 about five days ago from Amazon. The shipping service was great. They carried it right into my house and set it up for me where I wanted it. Much more than you’d expect for free shipping. The price on this thing was unbeatable and with a two year warranty from Samsung how can you go wrong. I was actually looking to buy an LCD HDTV. I was comparing three of them at Best Buy that were all really nice but the plasma just caught my eye.
It had much richer colors than the LCD’s and the screen was bigger but they were pretty evenly priced. After that I started doing a bit of research on plasma compared to LCD and changed my mind to plasma. I started comparing some plasma TV’s and the Samsung’s had the best picture. Panasonics were also very nice but I thought the Samsung had a better picture and it came with better features. I’m very happy with my picture and don’t regret choosing plasma over LCD at all.
